AUTO PARTS END PAYOR CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT
This settlement stems from allegations that over almost two decades, the Defendants (major manufacturers of auto parts) conspired to fix and artificially raise the prices of more than two-dozen generic parts. As a result, the increased cost was passed on to vehicle buyers across the country.
The Settlement Fund will be used to reimburse new vehicle buyers in 30 states that file a valid claim noting their volume of cars purchased (inclusive of the component parts at issue) from 1998 through 2019.
It is likely you did not purchase these parts directly from the Defendant auto part manufacturer, but rather, purchased or leased vehicles that already contained the eligible component parts installed.
