Settlement: In re: Apple Inc. Device Performance Litigation

Settlement Fund: $310,000,000.00

Case Synopsis: The Apple iPhone Settlement will reimburse consumers and businesses who purchased Apple iPhone 6, 7, or SE devices prior to December 21, 2017. It alleges a specific software update was designed to slow phones down and force consumers to purchase newer models. The settlement fund will be between $310,000,000 – $500,000,000 and will distribute between $25-$500 per phone. The claim filing deadline is October 6, 2020.
