The Truck and/or Dealer Class of the Automotive Parts Antitrust Settlement, totaling $20,067,490, alleges that the Defendants entered into unlawful agreements that allegedly raised the prices of Starters and Alternators.
Your company is likely eligible as a part of the truck dealer class if it purchased new medium duty (class 3-7) and heavy duty (class 8) trucks, buses, commercial vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, construction equipment, mining equipment, agricultural equipment, railway vehicles, materials-handling vehicles, and/or similar vehicles between January 1, 1999-November 27, 2018; and/or purchased certain parts for resale.
These parts include: Air Bag Assemblies, Alternators, Anti-Lock Braking Systems, Bearings, Radiators, Seat Belts, Starters, Steering Wheels, Steering Wheel Assemblies, and/or Wire Harness Systems.
The deadline to file is March 1, 2020.
